Summary: The Oracle GTM Functional Consultant role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements for global trade compliance and logistics, designing Oracle GTM solutions, and supporting end-to-end implementations. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GTM processes with Oracle ERP and SCM Cloud modules while providing expertise on trade regulations and compliance. The position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of global trade processes, with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to global trade compliance, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Design and configure Oracle GTM solutions including compliance screening, trade document management, restricted party screening, license management, and customs filing.
- Support end-to-end Oracle GTM implementations: requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Order Management, Logistics, Finance) to integrate GTM processes with Oracle ERP and SCM Cloud modules.
- Develop and document functional specifications, configurations, test scripts, and training materials.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support business users during go-live and post-production.
- Provide expertise on trade regulations, export/import compliance, and global trade best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle GTM Functional Consultant, with at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle GTM implementations.
- Strong understanding of global trade processes including export/import compliance, customs, screening, and licensing.
- Experience integrating Oracle GTM with ERP and SCM modules (Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, Logistics).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as ECCN, HS Codes, ITAR, EAR, OFAC, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
