Observability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement observability engineering practices using metrics, logs, and traces.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data movement across various environments (SAAS, hybrid, on-prem).
• Support vendor-driven change management and maintain observability coverage.
• Visualize and monitor complex data flows across multiple systems.
• Manage ETL processes and ensure data quality and lineage.
• Work with cloud and platform engineering technologies, including Openshift and Kubernetes.
• Utilize scripting and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus).
• Familiarity with distributed tracing (Appd, OpenTelemetry).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation (Ansible).
• Experience with ETL and integration processes.
• Understanding of microservices, API integrations, and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
