Summary: The MuleSoft Developer role requires extensive experience in the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform to support the modernization and sustainment of enterprise applications. Candidates will work closely with senior engineers to implement secure and high-availability solutions. The position emphasizes strong technical skills in system architecture, configuration, and deployment, alongside effective communication and collaboration abilities. This is a long-term remote contract position for a candidate with over 10 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply consulting experience in analysis, design, and development of complex systems using MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Architect, configure, build, deploy, and support MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform as a shared service.
- Ensure compliance with DoD and government security standards for deployed changes.
- Work with senior-level engineers to implement solution designs in a large enterprise.
- Install and administer the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Setup and support a highly available MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform with clustering and load balancing.
- Troubleshoot and tune performance of MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform components.
- Monitor platform performance, users, license management, security, and data quality.
- Review and execute MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform release updates.
- Develop and implement integration roadmaps and configure APIs with MuleSoft API Manager.
- Provide technical support for applications and projects using MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Guide research efforts related to MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
Key Skills:
- Three or more years in administration and engineering of MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Seven or more years supporting enterprise-class applications in engineering or administrative roles.
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Private Cloud Edition (PCE).
- Strong experience in designing web services with optimal security and performance.
- Experience with REST, SOAP web services, RAML, and OpenAPI.
- Experience with MuleSoft Connectors (Standard/Custom).
- Ability to troubleshoot MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform with deployment and tuning experience.
- Experience in ETL flows in MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Security+ Certification (Desired).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- BS degree in Information Technology or related technical discipline.
- Certification(s) in MuleSoft (Desired).

Job Description:
Successful candidates will require an ability to apply consulting experience and skills in analysis, design and early development of complex systems using the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform to provide our client oversight of modernization and sustainment of high availability enterprise applications. The candidate will leverage experience in architecting, configuring, building, deploying, and supporting the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform as a shared service across the enterprise. A deep understanding of DoD and government security standards and policies are needed to ensure all deployed changes are highly secure and available. The candidate will work directly with senior-level systems and software engineers and architects to implement solution designs in a large complex worldwide enterprise.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) or more years in administration and engineering of the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Seven (7) or more years total experience supporting enterprise-class applications in a significant engineering or administrative role.
- Hands on experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Private Cloud Edition (PCE) is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in designing web services with optimal security and performance.
- Experience with REST, SOAP web services, RAML, and OpenAPI in the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Experience working with MuleSoft Connectors (Standard/Custom)
- Ability to troubleshoot the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform (debuggers/flow analyzers) with deployment, and tuning experience.

Typical Duties/Abilities:

- Setup and support a highly available MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform with clustering and load balancing.
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning of MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform components.
- Monitoring the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform including performance, users, license management, security, and data quality.
- Review MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform release updates, planning and executing updates.
- Develop, design, and implement architect infrastructure/integration roadmaps.
- Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals, and API analytics based with MuleSoft API Manager.
- Provide applications and projects with technical support for the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise for research efforts for the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
