Adult Social Care Solicitor

Remote working

£60 - 65 per hour DOE

Part Time/Full Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Adult Social Care Solicitor to join a large and well-respected Local Authority in the North West. This is a locum position and will be for an initial period of 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension beyond this.

The successful Adult Social Care Solicitor will be required to take on a varied caseload including, but not limited to:

  • Court of Protection applications
  • Deprivation of Liberty
  • Ordinary Residence
  • Mental Capacity queries
  • Providing general legal advice in relation to adult social care and mental health

The ideal candidate will be locally based, however remote working candidates will be considered. While previous experience working within local government is desirable, qualified solicitors from a private practice background should also apply.
