Summary: The Lead Technical Architect role involves supporting a Public Sector client in East London on a contract basis for an initial 12 months. The position requires the successful applicant to work on-site 2-3 days per week while collaborating with the Principal Technical Architect to define and maintain the technical strategy and roadmap for various services. The role encompasses a diverse tech stack and modern development practices. The position has been classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a Public Sector client in East London.

Key Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of modern development practices including domain-driven design and test-driven development.
- Experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, AppInsights, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI.
- Understanding of legacy systems including Oracle Database, WebLogic & Forms, and SQL Server.

The successful applicant will support a Public Sector client in East London and will be required to attend site 2-3 days per week.
Working with the Principal Technical Architect, you will define, maintain and own the technical strategy and road map for services of various sizes and complexity, defining how they integrate with other services and teams, and how they evolve over time.
Tech stack:
* Programming languages such as TypeScript/Node AWS
* Using infrastructure as code with Terraform Container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
* Public GitHub repositories for our work
* Modern development practices such as domain-driven design, test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery
* Mac laptops plus other tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, AppInsights, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and more Legacy systems use
* Oracle Database, WebLogic & Forms, and Tungsten TotalAgility & SQL Server
