Seeking an IT resilience PM, this position requires enhancing the stability and reliability of critical business applications, data systems, and network infrastructure.
This role will be integral to shaping and maintaining the resilience strategies of essential IT systems, driving improvements across various resilience areas.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document system requirements
- Facilitate workshops, ensuring actionable outputs are delivered
- Align IT Emergency Recovery Plans with broader Business Continuity objectives
- Evaluate and refine solution architectures to improve resilience
- Develop and test emergency recovery plans for critical apps and data backup solutions
- Lead migrations of applications to modern platforms (Azure or Enterprise environments)
- Enhance data quality across application portfolios
- Implement measures to resolve vulnerabilities
- Assess existing backup systems & recommend improvements based on requirements
- Analyse IT resilience data, providing actionable recommendations to resolve issues
- Support Solution Architects and Application Managers with cloud migrations and resilience
- Review and address resilience concerns in Data Rooms
- Monitor third-party contracts, ensuring compliance with resilience objectives
- Offer PMO support, contributing to project planning and execution strategies
- Define measurable resilience goals and track progress through reports and metrics
Required
- 5+ years working in IT Resilience to include:
- Disaster Recovery for applications
- Addressing software and system vulnerabilities
- Data quality improvements
- Application modernization and migration
- Authentication systems for applications
- Systems analysis for resilience enhancement
- Experience managing a diverse portfolio of applications (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Cloud)
- Proven success in working with apps support teams & infrastructure specialists
- Strong international project management experience
- Expertise in PMO practices and project delivery methodologies (eg, PMI)
- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSCM processes and compliance frameworks
- Understanding of business impact analyses and risk assessments
- Proficiency in cloud virtualization, and storage technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of business continuity planning and disaster recovery testing
- Effective contract and supplier management skills working with 3rd party vendors
- Successfully designed, tested, and deployed solutions for business-critical applications
