Summary: We are seeking an experienced IS Solution Architect to implement, configure, and optimize the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) within our supply chain operations. The role requires a subject matter expert to deliver high-quality solutions, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WMS and warehouse processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals. This is a remote position with a focus on enhancing warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- WMS Implementation & Configuration: Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, lead configuration and development of Blue Yonder WMS, and maintain design blueprints for system integrations.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze and document business processes, translate business needs into requirements, and conduct gap analysis for WMS solutions.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead functional testing efforts, identify and resolve system defects during testing phases.
- User Support & Training: Provide support for end-users, conduct training sessions on WMS functionality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and keep up to date with new WMS releases.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation for system configurations and prepare reports on system performance.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in implementing and configuring Blue Yonder WMS.
- Hands-on experience with WMS systems and core warehouse processes.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain best practices.
- Proficiency in system configuration and functional analysis of WMS software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with system testing methodologies and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience:
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing, configuring and developing in Blue Yonder WMS (formerly JDA WMS).
o Hands-on experience with WMS systems, particularly Blue Yonder (JDA), with strong knowledge of core warehouse processes (inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, etc.).
o Experience with system integration, data migration, and troubleshooting within warehouse environments.
- Skills:
o Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain best practices.
o Proficiency in system configuration, development and functional analysis of WMS software.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Familiarity with system testing methodologies (unit testing, UAT) and related tools.
- Certifications:
o Blue Yonder WMS certification or equivalent functional certifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
o Familiarity with SQL or other query tools for data analysis and reporting.
