The role will be remote, but attendance might be required to key meetings in Reigate. Good notice will be given of these and upon initial start in the post, the post holder would be required to come and meet the team for introductions. Expenses will not be paid for these.

A highly skilled technical architect is needed on a temporary basis to assess the setup of the website. This role involves evaluating Forms, Service Calls, Workflows, Security, as well as the procurement and finance configurations. After the assessment, the architect should provide recommendations on how to stabilise and improve the architecture. This is an advisory role focused on evaluating and providing guidance on the overall architecture and setup of various elements, rather than performing hands-on technical work.

Key accountabilities:

  • Review the architecture and document as appropriate
  • Advise on the set up of security and make recommendations
  • Advise on the workflow and make recommendations
  • Advise on the Service call and Forms set up and make recommendations
  • Work with the Managed Service Provider to agree and plan solutions
  • This role will be involved in delivering the Stabilisation Programme and report to the Lead Solutions Architect and the Programme Leads.
  • Help stabilise the platform so it can transition to BAU To share knowledge and upskill Council members.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a technical architect or similar role, with a strong background in system design and architecture.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, programming languages, and database technologies.
