Summary: The Functional Architect for Oracle Source to Pay Cloud is a client-facing role requiring extensive expertise in Oracle applications, specifically in Source to Pay. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis: Lead client workshops and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements related to Source to Pay lifecycle management, including procurement & payable processes.
- Solution Design & Configuration: Translate business requirements into a functional design document. Architect and configure the Oracle Source to Pay Cloud application to meet client needs, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Advisory & Strategy: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on best-in-class source to pay business models and how to optimize their use of the Oracle Cloud platform.
- Implementation Leadership: Guide the technical team in the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies. Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
- Sales & Presales Support: Assist in presales activities, including the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior functional consultants, helping them grow their expertise in Oracle Source to Pay.
Key Skills:
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience with Oracle applications, with at least 5 years focused on implementing and configuring Oracle Source to Pay Cloud.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of core Source to Pay processes, including procurement and payables standard sub-modules.
