Summary: CXC is seeking a Finance Process & Documentation Analyst for a 3-month remote contract within the EMEA region. The role involves mapping and documenting finance operational processes, collaborating with various teams, and improving efficiency through gap analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Map out, document, and standardize existing finance operational processes.
- Work closely with finance teams & operational teams, and senior management to understand workflows, dependencies, and pain points.
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks in current processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Document how financial systems (ie Certinia, Merit Payroll & Excel-based models) interact with each other and finance workflows.
- Develop clear SOPs, process maps, and training materials for finance teams.
- Support implementation of process improvements by coordinating with finance and IT teams.
Key Skills:
- Experience in finance operations, financial reporting, or accounting.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and documenting workflows.
- Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze processes and suggest efficiency improvements.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Experience working with finance & cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Understanding of financial compliance and internal controls.
- Ability to translate complex finance processes into clear, structured documentation.
