Summary: The role of ERP Systems Administrator/Team Leader involves leading a team responsible for the operational delivery of the councils' ERP system, Unit4, within a local government organization. Key Responsibilities:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive individual to join our clients team as an ERP Functional Support Team Leader.
The role is to lead an essential team responsible for ensuring the effective operational delivery of the councils ERP system as part of a Transactional Shared Service on behalf a shared service Councils.
This role has a focus on developing and improving the Unit4 application and the post holder will lead on system change and development work as well as acting as an escalation point for system defects and service requests with the 3rd party support contract.
This role is to provide cover as a team leader responsible for supporting the councils ERP system, Unit4, with a particular focus on application development and configuration management. The ideal candidate will have a functional configuration background ideally relating to Unit4 but other similar roles and experience would be desirable. They must also have a history of working in system administration providing support for system defects and configuration changes. Experience and knowledge of transactional, finance and/or payroll processes is essential as well as experience of maintenance management and testing.
In the role you will lead on system changes and developments co-ordinating the completion of a range of sys admin responsibilities as well as managing, maintaining and delivering the business development roadmap to ensure efficient and effective processing of changes within the clients Enterprise Resource Planning application, Unit4. Knowledge of the Unit4 application would be desirable as would experience in a similar system or position.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead on Unit4 system administration and development.

This role would suit someone with significant IT experience in ERP applications and knowledge of Microsoft Office. The role requires excellent communication skills and an ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful way. A pro-active and positive attitude with the ability to manage pressure effectively within a fast-paced environment is key.
An understanding of finance processes is vital to support team members in creating a positive and effective working environment and maintain customer relationships. Proven experience of analysing and documenting complex business processes and configuration management to ensure procedures are effective and managed successfully is also required.
