Summary: The role of Disaster Recovery Project Manager at Worldwide Technology involves leading the implementation of a disaster recovery site for critical business applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the disaster recovery site implementation project.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, application development, infrastructure, and business units to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation using JIRA and other project management tools.
- Coordinate technical teams to ensure the successful setup, configuration, and testing of the disaster recovery environment.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and communication with all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and industry best practices for disaster recovery.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in IT infrastructure or disaster recovery projects.
- Solid technical background with understanding of IT systems, networks, virtualization, and application architectures.
- Hands-on experience managing projects with JIRA or similar project tracking tools.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $60 to $80 hourly (Rate range is on C2C basis). Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
