We are currently seeking a skilled Devops Consultant to facilitate the transition from Octopus Deploy to Azure DevOps for our client. This project is in its initial phases, and we need the selected consultant to play a key role in estimating the professional services required, as well as ensuring the successful execution of the migration and implementation.
The Role:
- Lead the transition from Octopus Deploy to Azure Devops, from initial discovery assessment to migration
- Develop and maintain Azure Devops YAML Pipelines, ensuring best practices in CI/CD Workflows.
- Implement secure deployment policies, including secrets management and role-based access control.
- Write and manage scripts in PowerShell, Bash or Python to automate deployment processes and support custom Scripting needs.
The Person:
- Proven experience as a Devops Consultant in the migration from Octopus Deploy to Azure Devops
- Proficiency in YAML for defining CI/CD workflows
- Strong understanding of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and services like VMs, EC2 and Kubernetes.
- Scripting Experience in PowerShell, Bash or Python.
