Summary: The Financial Data Privacy Analyst role involves identifying and mitigating risks associated with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in financial documents and systems. The position requires expertise in global data protection laws and the ability to implement robust data privacy protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and address risks related to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in financial documents and digital systems.
- Apply advanced knowledge of global data protection laws such as GDPR and CCPA to ensure strict compliance in all data handling practices.
- Review and redact sensitive financial documents, including Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), financial statements, and contracts, using industry-standard privacy and redaction tools.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to establish and document robust data privacy protocols across sensitive workflows.
- Evaluate document content for indirect identifiers, recognizing that PII can reside beyond the obvious, such as in proprietary processes or unique reconciliation protocols.
- Provide expert recommendations to enhance data privacy controls within the customer’s finance and corporate environments.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of hands-on experience with PII compliance in finance or corporate settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA) and their application to financial data.
