Senior Data Engineer Contract Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join an exciting project focused on enhancing data accessibility and insights across multiple domains. Location: Hoboken, Belgium (2 days remote per week)
Contract: 3 months, with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate data pipelines using REST APIs and Python.


• Design and implement scalable data solutions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.


• Perform code reviews and contribute to high-quality, maintainable solutions.


• Optimise workflows through CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Kubernetes).


• Work with Databricks for data processing and analytics.

Your Profile

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in REST API design.


• Advanced knowledge of Python and software development best practices.


• Strong background in CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps) and Kubernetes (4+ years).


• Experience working with Databricks for data analytics and processing.


• Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.


• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a structured, organised approach.
