Summary: The Senior Data Centre Operations and Migrations Specialist will lead and execute a significant portfolio of application and database migrations within data centers and multiple locations. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of data center operations, technical expertise in various applications and databases, and exceptional communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing large-scale data center asset relocations and decommissioning processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients to align project objectives with business goals is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute large-scale DC assets relocation consists servers, storage, networking and other security devices.
- Oversee Asset decommissioning with in the data center environment.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of data center operations and related technologies.
- Have a good grasp of various application and database technologies, including Storage, SAN, ESX, windows, AIX and Solaris, and SQL Server.
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals.
- Conduct research and analysis of new and emerging technologies to assess their potential for client solutions.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and provide informed recommendations for technology solutions.
- Conduct and Participate in DC Assets planning, streamline process, develop Runbooks and management the projects delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in technology and share insights and knowledge with team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

- Proven experience in technical project management, operations management and data center migration projects.
- Strong understanding of Servers, networking, storage, clusters, applications and databases, including experience in relevant technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
