Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Analyst to provide support in vendor management, procurement operations, financial analysis, and business process improvement initiatives. The role involves operational support, reporting, cost analysis, contract administration, and vendor oversight across multiple business units. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform operational analysis and develop recommendations to support business initiatives
- Manage vendor and contract-related activities
- Conduct financial analysis, payment reconciliation, and cost tracking
- Develop reporting, dashboards, performance metrics, and business presentations
- Support procurement processes and vendor governance activities
- Identify process improvements, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies
Key Skills:
- 4+ years of experience with cost-benefit analysis, TCO modeling, and business analytics
- Experience within utilities, energy, oil & gas, telecommunications, or other regulated industries
- Experience analyzing data and developing reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, graphs, and business recommendations
- 2+ years of procurement lifecycle experience (vendor onboarding, purchase orders, contract administration, invoice management)
- 3+ years of financial systems, budgeting, payment reconciliation, and invoice tracking experience
- Experience supporting vendor management and supplier relationships
- Knowledge of contract negotiation tactics, contract administration, and vendor agreements
- Strong Excel skills and experience with reporting/BI tools
- Utility, retail energy, electric, natural gas, or customer operations experience
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or similar procurement/financial systems
