Automation Test Lead – Salesforce UK-based (Remote) contract role (£500 per day outside IR35 6-month Contract

  • Lead the end-to-end test automation strategy for a large-scale global Salesforce transformation programme covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ/RCA implementations.
  • Design, build, maintain, and scale robust automation frameworks using Playwright, ensuring high test coverage, stability, and reusability across multiple Salesforce platforms.
  • Drive automation of complex Salesforce business processes including lead conversion, opportunity management, case management, customer journeys, approvals, and CPQ workflows.
  • Develop automated UI, API, and integration test suites across Salesforce and connected enterprise systems, validating data integrity and end-to-end business flows.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership to QA engineers and cross-functional teams, establishing automation best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD quality gates.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to embed quality engineering throughout the SDLC and release lifecycle.
