Summary: The ADABAS/Mainframe DBA position is focused on providing extensive database administration for SoftwareAG's ADABAS database, with a strong emphasis on proficiency in the Natural programming language and mainframe platforms. The role requires knowledge of IBM z/OS and related products, along with on-call support responsibilities. This position is remote but prefers candidates from the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area. The contract duration is expected to be between 6 to 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer SoftwareAG ADABAS database.
- Utilize Natural programming language and manage Natural Security administration.
- Support and maintain IBM z/OS operating system and associated client software.
- Install and support ADABAS Security, Entire NetWork, SQL Gateway, AOS, Review, and CICS Interface.
- Provide on-call support as required.
Key Skills:
