Summary: The role of Active Directory Admin focuses on securely deploying and automating the administration of Microsoft Active Directory and related identity management services. The position requires collaboration with teams to manage Windows and Linux infrastructure on cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, while also ensuring timely patch management and documentation of processes. Candidates should have experience with various scripting languages and cloud resource management. Additional beneficial experience includes relevant certifications and Linux server administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Securely deploy and automate the administration of Microsoft Active Directory, AAD Federation, Identity Management.
- Implement and automate the management of Windows/Linux infrastructure hosted on Azure and AWS.
- Support the deployment and administration of services for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Document administrative processes for infrastructure deployed on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Stay informed about managed offerings that simplify the administration of Windows and Linux infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Collaborate with teams to design, develop, and implement administrative services for both Windows and Linux environments.
- Support patch management across the environment to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities.
Key Skills:
- Experience with PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing secure Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Resource Manager (ARM), AWS Cloud Formation.
- Experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery).
- Experience in Cloud resource management and permission management.
- MCSA: Windows Server 2016 or later certification.
- Relevant Cloud Service Provider and/or IT Security certifications.
