Regional Business Support Manager - North and East - Temporary up to 12 months

Summary: The Regional Business Support Manager role at RNLI is a temporary position for up to 12 months, focused on leading the Regional Business Support Team to provide essential support to Lifesaving teams in the North and East region. The role involves direct management of a small team, collaboration with various stakeholders, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of lifesaving operations. The successful candidate will drive improvements and ensure effective support systems are in place to facilitate lifesaving efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the Regional Business Support team, including direct line management responsibilities.
• Establish and inform work priorities for the team, measuring and managing performance and KPIs.
• Collaborate with other Regional Business Support teams for process and system standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Contribute as a subject matter expert in lifesaving support within the Regional Management Team.

• Experience managing support teams in a fast-paced, customer service environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for resource management and coordination.
• Proven ability to influence teams to achieve change.
• Desirable experience working with SAR/emergency services and/or volunteer workforce.
