Summary: The Regional Business Support Manager role at RNLI is a temporary position focused on providing essential support to Lifesaving teams in the North and East region during a maternity leave period. The manager will lead a small team, ensuring effective operations and collaboration across various departments to enhance lifesaving efforts. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills to drive improvements and manage performance effectively. The position is based in Stockton-on-Tees and involves occasional travel within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the Regional Business Support team, providing first-line support to Lifesaving volunteers and staff.
- Establish work priorities and manage team performance and KPIs in collaboration with Lifesaving Management.
- Collaborate with other Regional Business Support teams for process standardization and continuous improvement.
- Contribute as a subject matter expert in lifesaving support within the Regional Management Team.
Key Skills:
- Experience managing support teams in a fast-paced, customer service environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for resource management and coordination.
- Proven ability to influence teams to achieve change.
- Experience working with SAR/emergency services and/or volunteer workforce is desirable.
