Summary: The Quality Lineside Engineer role in Broughton involves supporting the production team by predicting and addressing issues that may hinder their ability to meet targets. This full-time, on-site position requires conducting quality inspections and providing guidance on various processes. The contract is set to last until November 2026, with night shifts from Monday to Thursday. BPSS clearance is required, and the client will provide sponsorship for this clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections at final check, stop points, and out of sequence work.
  • Provide advice on drawings, parts, processes, and support services.
  • Ensure containment, archiving, and corrective action is taken.
  • Raise non-conformities.
  • Perform investigations to assess probable root cause.

Key Skills:

  • Quality experience within a major manufacturing industry.
  • Previous Lineside or Quality Inspection positions held.
  • Experience of root cause analysis.
  • Shop floor experience would be desirable.
  • Experience with PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa, and other problem-solving toolsets.

Salary (Rate): £42.84/hr

QUALITY LINESIDE ENGINEER - NIGHT SHIFTS

New contract opportunity available in Broughton for a Quality Lineside Engineer to support and predict issues that will stop the production team from meeting their work package and daily targets. Full time on-site in Broughton £42.84ph via Umbrella 35 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 8:45pm – 6:00am Overtime at a premium rate Initial contract until November 2026 BPSS clearance required (client will provide sponsorship)

WHAT WILL THE QUALITY LINESIDE ENGINEER BE DOING?

The main responsibility of the Quality Lineside Engineer will be to perform quality inspections at final check, stop points, and out of sequence work.

  • Providing advice on drawings, parts, processes and support services
  • Ensuring containment, archiving and corrective action is taken

  • Performing investigations to assess probable root cause

WE NEED THE QUALITY LINESIDE ENGINEER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…
