Summary: SRG is seeking multiple QC Analysts to join a global leader in chemical manufacturing for a dynamic team in Grangemouth, Scotland. The role involves performing high-throughput QC analysis and conducting various analytical tests while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This position is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension, offering an opportunity to contribute to high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-throughput QC analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and other wet chemistry techniques
- Carry out swabbing and hygiene monitoring across the plant
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards
- Analyse and interpret results accurately
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
Key Skills:
- HND or degree in a relevant scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC is essential
- Proven track record in HPLC, LC-MS, or GC analysis within an industrial setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
