Summary: SRG is seeking multiple QC Analysts to join a global leader in chemical manufacturing for a dynamic team in Grangemouth, Scotland. The role involves performing high-throughput QC analysis and conducting various analytical tests while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This position is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension, offering an opportunity to contribute to high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-throughput QC analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and other wet chemistry techniques
  • Carry out swabbing and hygiene monitoring across the plant
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards
  • Analyse and interpret results accurately
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment

Key Skills:

  • HND or degree in a relevant scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC is essential
  • Proven track record in HPLC, LC-MS, or GC analysis within an industrial setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
