- East London - 12-Month Contract We are currently recruiting a QA/QC Manager with consultancy Data Centre experience to join a client focused team within the London office to help develop and drive our Data Centre capability, working on high profile projects throughout London and the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join and strengthen our team. Our client's Data Centre team works on wide range of projects including new build, fitout, refurbishment and capacity upgrades. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all services relating to project management on Data Centre project. There may also be opportunities to work oversees within this role.Key ResponsibilitiesThe QA/QC PM shall review and validate the General Contractors Construction Quality and Issue Management (CQ/IM) plan.The QA/QC PM shall monitor and validate implementation of the CQ/IM plan during the Construction Phase relating to all disciplines including mechanical, electrical and architectural.The QA/QC PM will conduct and carry out weekly QA/QC inspections with the GC and Client Team.The PM will record and track weekly quality issues and compile a weekly report to issue to DCD PM.The weekly report will include but is not limited to the benchmark register, inspection lookaheads, observations and key issues. It will also reference rectification of issues highlighted in previous reports.M&E installation quality shall be monitored and reviewed by the QA/QC PM and the results of the reviews shall be submitted to the Commissioning Agent for inclusion into the final Commissioning Report.Attendance at OFCI Vendor Coordination Meetings.Review and approval of vendor installation work, first of kind (FOK), rest of kind (ROK) any other benchmarking processes.RequirementsBe attentive to detail when checking workmanship and materials.Be technically competent.Have good spoken and written communication skills.Be honest and vigilant to ensure the work and materials meet the required standard.Be able to establish an appropriate working relationship with the General Contractor.Responsible for ensuring, managing, and reporting on quality.Work independently in support of the DC Project.Bachelor s Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Project Management, or Construction Management.Experience of data centre project construction with large-scale data centres or DC lease providers.Progressive responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities.If this role is of interest to you, please apply now!
