Summary: The role is for two Python Developers with essential experience in NHS or central government projects, based in Leeds. The developers will work within a digital consultancy to build and maintain scalable applications that enhance public services. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Python-based APIs and Back End services.
- Work closely with Front End developers to integrate applications built in Vue.js.
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring performance and security best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across NHS or government projects to deliver robust, compliant solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following GDS and NHS digital standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
- Experience building Vue.js front-ends or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Proficiency with AWS (Lambda, S3, ECS, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Understanding of data security, governance, and accessibility in public sector contexts.
- Proven experience on NHS or central government digital projects.
