Summary: The role is for a Contract Project Manager with NEC experience, specifically in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, or Nuclear sectors. The position requires expertise in delivering control or electrical systems within a design and build environment and offers an immediate start outside of IR35. The candidate must be comfortable in client-facing roles and be able to commute to the Sheffield area at least three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects within the regulated sector, focusing on control systems and electrical systems.
- Lead client-facing interactions and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee the design, build, and commissioning processes.
- Utilize NEC form of contract in project management.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations and regulatory standards.
- Commute to the Sheffield area at least three days per week.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager in the Nuclear, Petrochemical, or Oil and Gas sectors.
- Strong understanding of NEC form of contract.

Project Manager outside IR35 Requirements:
- They work predominantly within the regulated sector space, they are looking for a strong project manager who is comfortable in a client facing position.
- You will ideally have experience of systems integration within the control system/electrical system sector.
- A strong understanding of the Design/Build/Commissioning Environment.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager with a good understanding of NEC form of contract.
- Strong client facing skills.
- You will need to be commutable to the Sheffield area a minimum of 3 days per week.
Key Requirements for this outside IR35 contract position:
- Currently working as a Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager, ideally within the Nuclear, Petrochemical or Oil and Gas sector.
- You will need to have a good understanding of NEC form of contract.
- Experience delivering Control Systems or Electrical Systems.
- Capable of working in a client facing position, you will be taking the lead on one of their key projects so it is important you are confident operating at this level.
- You will need to be commutable to the Sheffield area at least 3 days per week.
