Summary: The role is for an experienced HVAC or air conditioning project manager based in Sheffield, responsible for overseeing project estimating, managing costs, and ensuring quality control of installations. Key Responsibilities:
- Compile tender/bid activity and carry out project estimating
- Review technical design aspects of system proposals
- Value engineer projects
- Manage project costs and project P and L
- Attend pre-start and project meetings
- Produce and manage project H and S plans, RAMS etc
- Produce and agree project programs
- Coordinate services with other trades
- Source and procure plant items i.e. air handling units, air conditioning, cold-rooms
- Source and procure sub-contractors: ductwork, controls, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, pipework and insulation
- Check and sign off invoices
- Snag and quality control installations
- Manage all commissioning activities
- Produce O and M manuals
- Prepare and submit monthly applications and variations
Key Skills:
- A minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration and Air conditioning
- F-Gas/EN 378 compliant
- Experience in a supervisor/PM role for 2 years
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Full Driving licence

The Ideal Candidate
- A highly experienced Refrigeration and Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration and Air conditioning, you will be F:Gas/EN 378 compliant
- Off the tools in a supervisor / PM role for 2 years
- A high level of interpersonal skills :good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports.
- You will be confident in your own ability
- Strong problem:solving skills, you will have a can do attitude
- Full Driving licence
