NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE FOR A PROECT MANAGER IN GLASGOWSearchability NS&D has a contract opportunity for an Project Manager to work across an exciting range of projectsRole based in Glasgow - HybridMust have active SC Clearance 36ph Inside IR356 month duration - extension likelyFor more details please call me or email (see below) WHAT WILL THE PROECT MANAGER ENGINEER BE DOING?Delivery of project management and contract administration through the project life cycle.Ensuring that there is a common understanding of requirements and scope, programs, costs, constraints, risk and interfaces across the team.Leading the project team - building, motivating, maintaining, coaching, guiding, and developing the team.Deliver governance arrangements for projects within corporate and business policies, directives, guidance, and procedures to ensure a robust outcome.Ensure safety is prioritized throughout delivery.Manage the project within client and DIO agreed budgets.Management of Risk (and Opportunity) for the project from inception through to completion.Administer and negotiate change control from inception through to completion.Manage approved sub-contractor procurement processes.Clear and accurate monitoring and reporting of project performance against programs, technical quality, financial and KPI targets; both internally and externally.Skills & Experience RequiredIdeally with a Project Management/Engineering background, with design management, project management and contract administration experience within the Nuclear environment.Experience of undertaking accountable Project Manager roles on multidisciplinary design projects (> 1M design fees per annum).APM PMQ (or equivalent) recognized level of competence in Project Management - desirable.Understands and has significant experience in deploying various forms of construction contract, in particular NEC 4,Understanding of Nuclear StandardsExperience of working closely with multi-disciplinary design teams.Understanding of BIM.Successful applicant must have active SC Clearance.TO BE CONSIDERED.Please either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to (see below) - I can make myself available outside of normal working hours to suit from 7am until 10pm.
