Summary: The role of Project Manager involves leading and delivering technology and information security projects within a global organization. This newly created position focuses on establishing best practices in project delivery while enhancing security, compliance, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable plans. This is a contract position for 6 months, with the potential for extension, and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver technology and information security projects across a global enterprise.
- Collaborate with the Director of Information Security to translate strategy into actionable project plans and measurable outcomes.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks to ensure delivery against agreed objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors with clear communication and accountability.
- Develop and maintain project documentation - including business cases, roadmaps, risk logs, reports, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure alignment with recognised technical and compliance frameworks such as CE+, ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior stakeholders and the Director of Information Security.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years' experience managing IT or information security projects within multi-site or global organisations.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance.
- Solid technical background, ideally with infrastructure experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to translate technical language into business context.
- Experienced in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Preferred: Understanding of hospitality IT systems (eg POS, PMS, guest management, building controls).
