Summary: The Project Engineer role is an 11-month contract position based in the West Midlands, focusing on the delivery of new test facilities for an automotive OEM. The engineer will be responsible for managing project requirements, collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders, and utilizing JIRA for project tracking. The position requires a strong governance approach similar to PRINCE2/APM methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of new test facilities, including test rigs of vehicles, vehicle systems, and components.
- Discussing project requirements and plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Using JIRA to track work to be completed and work done.
- Ensuring rig development is scoped out, designed, delivered, and handed over.
- Implementing a governance system akin to PRINCE2/APM.
Key Skills:

Job Description
As Project Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
Delivery of new test facilities, including test rigs of vehicles, vehicle systems and components.

Using JIRA, to track work to be completed and work done
Ensure rig development is scoped out, designed, delivered and handed over
