What you will do:
- Project Planning & Execution
Define and manage the overall delivery plan for the Valuation & Risk Management project, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation. Ensure alignment between business requirements, functional specifications, and technical delivery.
- Delivery Oversight
Coordinate cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers, architects, quants, data engineers, vendors, etc.) to deliver project outcomes on time and within scope. Monitor progress, resolve delivery risks/issues, and escalate where necessary to maintain momentum.
- Governance & Reporting
Lead project governance routines, prepare status updates, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders and steering committees. Track project financials, vendor contracts, and budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Stakeholder Management
Engage trading desks, risk, operations, and IT functions to gather requirements, align priorities, and manage expectations. Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, business sponsors, and transformation streams.
- Operational Readiness
Ensure robust change management, testing, training, and documentation for successful go-live.
What you will have:
- Relevant technical qualifications
- Project Leadership: Proven track record as a Project Manager or Program Manager on large-scale transformation initiatives within trading, risk, or financial services.
- Delivery Expertise: Strong experience in project planning, execution, governance, and vendor management, ideally within data or technology-heavy environments.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with energy trading and risk management (ETRM/CTRM) processes and systems is highly desirable.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
