Summary: The role of Production Operator involves supporting production processes in a highly regulated chemical and pharmaceutical environment in Muttenz, Switzerland. The position requires adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards while operating and monitoring production processes. Candidates will also be responsible for sample analysis, troubleshooting deviations, and coordinating maintenance activities. This role includes shift work and emphasizes a proactive approach to safety culture and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor technical, physical, and chemical production processes independently.
- Start-up and shut down equipment, flush and clean systems in compliance with HSEQ guidelines.
- Collect and analyze samples (e.g., LC, GC, titration, pH) and interpret results.
- Identify and resolve deviations and assist with technical issues.
- Organize and coordinate maintenance work with internal and external partners (mechanics/electricians).
- Support and guide colleagues in task completion.
- Participate in projects and continuous improvement processes.
- Actively promote safety culture and report safety risks and improvement suggestions.
Key Skills:
- Completed training as a chemical or pharmaceutical technician or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Professional experience in chemical-pharmaceutical production is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of HSE topics and a strong sense of responsibility for safety and quality.
- Experience with process controls and production data evaluation.
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written; English skills are a plus.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive personality with an independent working style.
- This position involves shift work (morning, evening, and night shifts).
