Procurement Coordinator (CR/007216) Location: Hereford Role Type: Hybrid – 2 – 3 days per week on site Salary: up to £250 – £300 per day Contract Duration: 3 month initial contract Job Details An established and growing engineering business operating in the defence and technology sector is looking to appoint a Procurement Coordinator to support its expanding supply chain function. This is a hands-on, operational procurement role focused on ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of purchasing activities across a niche, specialist supply base. You’ll be joining a business that works with highly specialised electronic and mechanical suppliers in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment. The Role This position will sit within the procurement team and take ownership of core transactional and administrative buying activities, including:

  • Raising and managing purchase orders
  • Booking in stock and maintaining accurate system records
  • Supporting RFQs and supplier communications
  • Tracking orders through to delivery
  • Maintaining supplier data and documentation
  • Supporting the wider team with procurement administration
  • Ensuring accuracy across ERP/MRP systems

You’ll play a key role in keeping procurement operations running efficiently and supporting senior buyers with smooth execution.
