Your day-to day activities will include:Liaising with project leads to ensure adherence to governance standardsProviding guidance and support to projects including the maintenance of project artifacts (e.g. PID/finance trackers/risk logs)Maintaining and updating programme/project framework to ensure they adequately support CAA delivery methodologies Triage and analysis of data, highlighting issues, trends and making recommendationsReporting, including the design and implementation of dashboards. Presenting information back to senior leadership for informed decision makingSupport and facilitation of governance forums including the CAA s project prioritisation processesTracking, monitoring and updating of Project and/or Programme status Lead initial development, ongoing maintenance and quality assurance of high level and detailed plans for programmes or multiple projects, providing or assuring provision of regular plan and milestone progress reportsProvide valuable insight and new ideas that drive the continuous improvement in how the PMO operates and delivers valueIdentifying and monitoring key performance indicators that highlight capacity / capability constraints and over commitment of resources for particular areasMaintaining and updating programme/project framework and associated process documents to ensure they adequately support CAA delivery methodologies When working with colleagues you should seek to continuously improve relationships, develop your understanding of their challenges, and consult with each to seek out solutions. To this end, you will need to be comfortable driving, influencing, challenging, and negotiating with partners at all levels of business.About YouProven experience within a similar role supported by a working knowledge of project and /or programme management methodologies (PRINCE2, APM, Agile etc.)Experience in prioritising projects and assessing project outputs against previously defined strategic goalsBrings fresh ideas and innovative approaches to enhance PMO practicesProven track record of refining PMO processes to meet evolving business needsIdentifies and implements process optimizations for increased efficiencyLeads initiatives to expand the PMO's scope and strategic impactExperience of using SharePoint is required and experience of creating and editing SharePoint sites an advantageExcellent written communication and presentation skillsGood analytical and numerical skills with problem solving capability Proactive and able to work both as part of a team and stand aloneExperience in MS Standard Applications, MS Project, MS Teams, and use of PPM toolsArticulate and persuasive and able to provide commentary to stakeholders at all levelsWhat Can We Offer You?The aviation industry is in constant evolution, with the integration of new technologies and the opening of new commercial opportunities, such as commercial space flight.
