The RoleA vacancy has arisen for a PMO Analyst to join BAE Systems for a 12 month contractThe role holder will report to the FC&S Executive Assistant with a dotted line into the PMO Lead and be responsible for a range of project support and administration activities.They should demonstrate a proactive approach to solving problems, tracking actions and ensuring updates are communicated and escalated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.They should be a strong and confident communicator, with the ability to build solid relationships, influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels in a highly paced programme.Role Responsibilities:Not limited to...Onboarding: To own the induction process for Ad Astra. Efficiently navigate internal processes and systems to manage the on/off-boarding for new hires / leavers. This will incorporate ordering IT equipment for new starters and requesting new accounts, processing security forms for new starters, returning IT equipment and raising disposal requests for leavers and maintenance of the consultant tracker. To manage 'first day' induction process and orientation.Actions: Proactively monitor and follow-up with owners on their actions, ensuring owners provide regular updates to their tasks, and periodically report their status.IT Management: Ensure all consultants are logging in to accounts regularly to maintain laptop security compliance, and ensure accounts remain 'live'.PO Management: Raise Purchase Orders and receipt invoices on behalf of the Ad Astra Programme.Team Events: Assist with the co-ordination and management of team event logistics for the programme.Support for Programme Management Office (PMO) tasks: These may include: Maintain core team documents e.g. consolidated team lists, trackers etc Assist with SharePoint library management (e.g. coordinate access requests, check and mark documents for archiving) Unblock any IT related queries for the team (frequently Outlook or SharePoint related)Attend various team/Governace meetings e.g. Risks and Issues Review, Prog. Control Board, and record notes, mins and actions.Build and leverage internal relationships and networks to drive team outcomes and support a collaborative way of working.Ad-hoc support: Assist the wider Programme team with generic admin tasks as required.What BAE Systems are looking for, from you:Project support experience.Be able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.Be able to be proactive and work at pace.Be process driven and understand BAES culture and ways of working.Be enthusatic and proactive about problem solving.Have strong communication skills.Have strong interpersonal skills.Security Requirements: BPSSThis role requires you to obtain a basic disclosure along with employment reference checks before starting.The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs).
