Piping & Fabrication Senior Supervisor (Contract)

Summary: The Piping and Fabrication Senior Supervisor will oversee the Fabrication Term Maintenance contract and coordinate maintenance and shutdown activities within a petrochemical environment. This role involves managing contractor workforces, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting the Senior Maintenance Engineer. The position is based in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire, and focuses on maximizing plant availability and improving maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Fabrication Term Maintenance contract and associated contracts.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and shutdown activities for piping and fabrication.
• Define, estimate, and progress Capital and Major Maintenance Projects.
• Administer maintenance work plans, including creating work packs and applying field controls.
• Oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with company specifications and procedures.
• Support investigations into failures and recommend improvements to systems and procedures.
• Assist with CMMS administration, controlled drawings, and procurement activities.
• Contribute to Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, promoting safe working practices.
• Deputise for the Senior Maintenance Engineer as required.

Key Skills:

• HNC, HND, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience leading and managing contractor workforces.
• Strong Piping & Fabrication experience within Petrochemical or Tier 1 COMAH environments.
• Knowledge of Atmospheric Storage Tank Inspection & NDT (desirable).
• Experience in CMMS systems and engineering within a marine or arduous environment (desirable).
• Familiarity with LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, Work at Height & Confined Space regulations (desirable).
• Project Management / Turnaround Planning experience (desirable).
• CAD proficiency and Internal Quality Auditing skills (desirable).
