Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear communication, teamwork, safety and environmental focus, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work.
  • Be available to respond (on-call) to emergency situations.
  • Read, interpret, and utilize P&IDs, process flow diagrams, schematics, and alignment sheets.
  • Lead contract crews in the field.
  • Follow all procedures and adhere to safety and environmental policies.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues with engineering staff and leadership.
  • Generate field reports and information in an organized and timely manner.
  • Participate in all safety and Team operations meetings.

  • Entry level, typically 0-3 years of oilfield experience, with pipeline pigging experience.
  • 60-80% travel to locations throughout the assigned asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to perform basic pipeline flow troubleshooting tasks.

Airswift is searching for a Pipeline Operator to work on a long-term contract near Kenedy, TX.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide clear communication, teamwork, safety and environmental focus, and compliance with established policies and procedures will be keys to success.

• The position requires a self-motivated and safety driven individual with strong leadership skills.

• Plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work.

• Available to respond (on-call) to emergency situations if any arise.

• Ability to read, interpret, and utilize P&IDs, process flow diagrams, schematics, and alignment sheets.

• Strong, field based, leadership of contract crews.

• Follow all procedures provided and adhere to all safety and environmental policies.

• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to work technical issues with engineering staff and leadership.

• Generates field reports and information in an organized and timely manner for analysis.

• Actively participate in all safety and Team operations meetings.

Qualifications:

• Entry level, typically 0-3 years of oilfield experience, with pipeline pigging experience using pig valve, and conventional launchers and receivers configuration.

• 60-80% travel to locations throughout the asset assigned.

• Must have valid drivers license.

• Ability to perform basic pipeline flow troubleshooting tasks.

• Basic computer skills using Pipeline Apps, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word.

• Basic understanding of mobile pump equipment and pipeline cleanouts.

• Basic understanding of the flow process and how it affects the pipeline network and associated operational facilities.
