Summary: The role of Pipefitter involves working night shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM in Ampthill, as part of a skilled team for an award-winning organization. The position focuses on installing plumbing and heating components, ensuring high-quality work, and maintaining communication with customers regarding project progress. Candidates are expected to work efficiently and report any issues to supervisors. Experience with copper and stainless steel installations is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install copper/stainless steel pipes up to 35mm, hanging radiators, and fan coil units.
- Installation of mechanical plumbing and heating components.
- Ensure quality of work meets the highest standards.
- Keep customers updated with progress and plans.
- Undertake work efficiently and cost-effectively, minimizing non-productive time and reporting difficulties to the Resource Controller and/or Supervisor.
Key Skills:
- CSCS card.
- NVQ level 2-3 in plumbing (desired but not essential).
