A Senior Technical PeopleSoft Consultant opportunity is available for a skilled professional to join our client s team in Rome on a contract basis. This role involves providing technical expertise for PeopleSoft Financials and HCM systems, resolving user issues, and supporting integrations with internal and external systems.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:



  • Provide user support for technical issues in PeopleSoft Financials and HCM through an internal ticketing system and ensure timely updates to users.

  • Debug issues to identify causes and develop resolutions, including updates to PeopleCode, SQL scripts, or workflows.

  • Develop technical solutions for user issues, including data amendments and updates to workflows.

  • Resolve performance bottlenecks and develop remediations to improve system efficiency.

  • Prepare and document projects for migration to production, ensuring quality control checks and proper documentation.

  • Support the application of patches and PUMs, collaborating with database managers for testing.

  • Manage integrations between PeopleSoft databases and external systems, liaising with business owners and external vendors.

  • Comply with organisational policies, particularly regarding security and production system updates or migrations.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required information and designing solutions to address audit recommendations.

  • Collaborate with developers to validate requirements and ensure secure and efficient integration points.


You Have:



  • At least 12 years of experience working with PeopleSoft Financials and HCM modules in version 9.X.

  • Extensive knowledge of PeopleTools 8.5x and PeopleCode, including application packages and workflows.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of security components in PeopleSoft, with experience setting up or modifying these components.

  • Experience with approval workflow engines, designing integration broker messages, and component interfaces.

  • Ability to design integrations with Cloud SaaS solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to develop practical solutions for technical and non-technical users.

  • Demonstrable experience developing technical solutions for both Financials and HCM modules.

  • A collaborative approach to working within multicultural teams and liaising with users across all organisational levels.

  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
