Summary: The Out of Hours Customer Advisor role involves serving as the first point of contact for residents at a Customer Service Centre in Chelmsford, assisting with emergency repairs, and facilitating various tenant requests. The position requires excellent communication skills and experience in housing or customer service is preferred. Multiple shift patterns are available, primarily covering weekends and weekday evenings. The roles are temporary and ongoing, with immediate consideration for applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for residents.
  • Assisting residents in reporting emergency repairs and raising these on the CRM.
  • Liaising with subcontractors.
  • Helping tenants raise cases such as reports of antisocial behaviour.
  • Assisting residents with payments for rent or service charges.
  • Liaising with local Housing Officers to facilitate resident requests.
  • Utilising communication skills to resolve calls promptly and effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in housing and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to assist with emergency diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

Salary (Rate): £21.06
