Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lesson plans for all nursery staff to implement.
- Develop and share high-quality teaching resources and materials.
- Provide guidance and support to nursery practitioners on curriculum delivery and best practice.
- Model effective teaching strategies and techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of lesson plans on children's learning and development.
- Collaborate with the Family Hub leadership team to ensure a cohesive and effective early years provision.
- Keep up-to-date with current EYFS guidance and best practice.
- Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage in relevant training and professional development opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Early Years Teacher (EYTS/QTS) with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Proven experience in planning and delivering engaging early years lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor colleagues.
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work independently.
- A genuine commitment to the progress and well-being of young children.
- A DBS Child Only on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
