NetBackup Engineer

Summary: Our international client is seeking a Storage Engineer for a 6-month freelance B2B contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This hybrid role requires occasional on-site presence in Portsmouth, focusing on the design and management of various storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM Flash and HPE storage systems, as well as Brocade technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage IBM Flash storage solutions, including Flash System family, HPE 3PAR storage, HPE Nimble, and HPE MSA.
• Develop and maintain documentation for 3PAR storage and HPE MSA infrastructure.
• Scope and manage new migration projects, ensuring alignment with team skills and customer requirements.
• Implement and maintain data replication and disaster recovery solutions using IBM & 3PAR features.
• Collaborate with other IT teams for seamless integration of storage solutions.
• Stay updated with Brocade technologies and provide technical support for network issues.
• Configure and manage Brocade switches and design, implement NetBackup and Rubrik technologies.
