Movement Planner

We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic Driver Planner to join our Planning Team. You will be responsible for helping new drivers develop into efficient, successful Engineius drivers by providing support and on the job training, whilst using our in-house software platform to plan and distribute movements intelligently to drivers, who move around the UK on public transport.

About Engineius Engineius’ goal is simple: to make vehicle movement easy. We are on our way to creating the leading end-to-end movement solution in the UK for our customers (such as Hertz and The AA), delivered by our network of 600+ drivers and transport agents across the UK. Since going live in April 2018, we have acquired over 80 clients, many of whom can claim to be amongst the largest players in the UK automotive industry. We are already one of the largest competitors in our space but have ambitions to grow much further and we are crazy about sustainability, to date we have saved fleets over 10,000,000 tonnes of CO2. Key Responsibilities

• Guide new drivers through their onboarding program once they have completed their initial induction.
• Provide support and ‘on the job’ training to enable new drivers to become competent and self-sufficient.
• Monitor driver performance and provide timely feedback and coaching.
• Where required, support the wider planning team with our Transporters, Contracted drivers and replanning due to last-minute changes.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, manage email communications, and update internal systems as required.

What Characteristics Are We Looking For?

Essential

• Experience in transport planning.
• Highly computer literate and comfortable learning new IT systems.
• We are a technology-led company, and we work exclusively on software and online platforms.
• Proven attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong geographical knowledge of mainland UK.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A can-do attitude, with the willingness to explore new approaches and processes, and to learn from both successes and setbacks.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and stay highly organised
• Proactive in taking responsibility, with a willingness to seek accountability and adapt to new responsibilities in a growing business.

Desirable

• Desire to embrace change in the logistics industry.
• We do not want to do things the same way as everyone else in the market.
• Some public transport knowledge/experience is advantageous but not essential.
