Summary: This role is for a GU & Lung Medical Advisor within a high-performing Oncology team, requiring a candidate with experience in Oncology and knowledge of ABPI conduct. The position is a 12-month contract based in London, involving strategy development, training, budget management, and collaboration with global teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical affairs and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as UK/Ireland Medical Affairs expert for the Oncology business.
  • Support the leadership team in the development of Oncology Brand strategies and implement Medical Tactics.
  • Develop Medical materials, review marketing materials and trainings.
  • Ensure scientific and clinical accuracy for a specific product or brand.
  • Develop KTL scientific interaction plans (national level).
  • Support and conduct internal training and ensure continuous education of team members and new employees.
  • Provide support in planning and tracking of the Oncology medical budget.
  • Comply to relevant training and SOPs.
  • Maintain up-to-date GxP knowledge.
  • Lead or support medical studies, assist coordination of local clinical projects and aid site selection.
  • Lead Local publication process and dissemination aligned with local, regional and global publication plan.
  • Anticipate, interpret and share medical information with stakeholders.
  • Provide training to HCPs and support in Medical educational events.
  • Identify and interact with key members of the medical community and other healthcare stakeholders with pre-defined metrics, in accordance with local regulations.

Key Skills:

  • University degree in Pharmacy or Medicine; advanced scientific degree (e.g., MSc, PharmD, PhD, DO, MD) preferred.
  • Scientific and/or clinical training in area of relevance to position strongly preferred.
  • UK ABPI signatory experience and knowledge of UK ABPI Code of Conduct.
  • Prior pharmaceutical industry experience & knowledge of regulatory environment.
  • Experience specific to Oncology preferred.
  • Substantial professional, clinical or research experience in a scientific or related field advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience of methodology of clinical research and Good Clinical Practice preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management.

An amazing opportunity for a GU & Lung Medical Advisor to join a high performing Oncology team , my client are looking for a Medical Advisor for a 12 month contract who will be based at their offices in London 3 days per week. You must have experience working within Oncology and knowledge of the ABPI conduct , you will be involved in strategy , training , budget and have exposure of working with global teams This is a really great opportunity for an experienced medical Advisor or someone who is looking for an opportunity within this type of role
