Summary: The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Engineer role is a field-based position focused on conducting maintenance and service work on various plant machinery, including crab balers and granulators. This 12-week contract, which is inside IR35, offers an immediate start and the potential for permanent employment. Candidates should possess mechanical maintenance experience and TIG welding skills. A full UK driving license is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and service work on plant machinery at client sites.
- Work in pairs to perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards while working independently.
Key Skills:
- Experience in mechanical maintenance and service of plant machinery.
- Proficiency in TIG welding.
- Ability to work independently and in pairs.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience with engines is advantageous.
Salary (Rate): £24.00/hour

Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Filed Service Engineer with maintenance experience on plant machinery as well as TIG welding experience?
Are looking for an immediately available contract role?
In this role you will be tasked with going to client sites to conduct maintenance and service work on plant machinery such as crab balers, granulators, agriculture machines and other plant machinery.
The ideal candidate from this role would come from a Mechanical Maintenance background and experience with engines will be an advantage.
