Are you a dedicated and resilient Maths teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a school in South Manchester to recruit a Maths Curriculum Lead from September 2026. The school is a Pupil Referral Unit, supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be managing the Maths department for all sites.
As a Maths Curriculum Lead, you will:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to pupils
- Work alongside other teachers and the SEN team to identify barriers and plan accordingly
- Build rapport and provide pastoral support to pupils
What we are looking for:
- An excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
- Previous experience teaching GSCE maths, preferably within a SEMH setting
- Experience planning, leading and teaching
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position
