Summary: The MARAC Coordinator role involves coordinating and administering the Domestic Violence and Abuse Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) in Wandsworth. The position requires effective collaboration with stakeholders, managing referrals, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The role also includes training delivery and maintaining essential documentation and databases. This is a full-time, hybrid position with an ASAP start and a contract length of three months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the MARAC to ensure effective operation and delivery in partnership with stakeholders.
- Facilitate consistent referrals to the MARAC using a common risk identification tool.
- Prepare monthly MARAC agendas and ensure referrals meet the MARAC threshold.
- Request case research from local GP surgeries monthly.
- Prepare high-standard documentation, including minutes and actions, and circulate them to partner agencies.
- Maintain orderly files on SharePoint and an action log following each MARAC meeting.
- Track all MARAC cases and notify panel members of case de-flagging timelines.
- Collect relevant data for monitoring MARAC outputs and outcomes, including quarterly SafeLives returns.
- Monitor agency/staff attendance at MARAC meetings.
- Manage the secure inbox and filing systems for MARAC documentation.
Key Skills:
- Experience working with domestic abuse cases.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in delivering training (desirable).
- Understanding of legislation, policy, and procedures related to domestic violence and abuse.
- Experience in data management and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
