Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and upkeep building services including heating, lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, and fire protection.
  • Collaborate with in-house teams and interact with building users and third-party service providers.
  • Ensure optimal performance and reliability of critical systems.
  • Participate in a staggered day rota, including weekends, and out-of-hours call-out procedures.

Key Skills:

  • City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in a large office environment.
  • Proficiency in 18th Edition IEE Regulations.
  • Expertise in electrical testing and inspection (desirable).
  • Understanding of L8 regulations.
  • Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and lighting controls.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and legislation.
  • Competence in technical drawing, computer modelling, and IT.
  • High voltage authorisation (desirable).
