Summary: The M&E Health & Safety Site Supervisor will oversee safety practices for mechanical and electrical activities within the Houses of Parliament, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager with the preparation and maintenance of Health & Safety documentation for all M&E site activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate labour on-site, ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with project requirements.
  • Carry out regular site safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure correct use of PPE and safety equipment.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress updates, variations, and information required for end-of-project documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Manager, including any safety concerns, access issues, or potential programme delays.

Key Skills:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)
  • Valid DBS check

Shorterm Group are currently seeking an M&E Health & Safety Site Supervisor to work on projects within the Houses of Parliament.This role focuses on ensuring safe working practices across M&E activities within a secure and high-profile environment.

Location: Houses of Parliament, London

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Overtime paid at time and a half.

Pay: £32 per hour CIS

Requirements:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
  • Valid DBS check
