Summary: The M&E Health & Safety Site Supervisor will oversee safety practices for mechanical and electrical activities within the Houses of Parliament, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role involves supervising on-site labor, conducting safety inspections, and maintaining documentation. The position requires a proactive approach to safety in a high-profile environment. The supervisor will also provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding site safety and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager with the preparation and maintenance of Health & Safety documentation for all M&E site activities.
- Supervise and coordinate labour on-site, ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with project requirements.
- Carry out regular site safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure correct use of PPE and safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate site records, including progress updates, variations, and information required for end-of-project documentation.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager, including any safety concerns, access issues, or potential programme delays.
Key Skills:
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)
- Valid DBS check

Location: Houses of Parliament, London
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Overtime paid at time and a half.
